BackupAtlas provides specifications, calculations, and guides for general information. We work hard to keep the data accurate — the methodology page documents how, including which records are still pending a second-source check — but specifications change between model years and errors happen. Always verify critical details against the manufacturer's current documentation before buying.

Not installation, electrical, or safety advice

Sizing estimates, transfer-switch and interlock information, fuel-cost math, and safety notes on this site describe general concepts and common U.S. code rules.
